Hallway is exploring a service that helps adult university students meet in person. This release is a free campus waitlist. It lets you register interest, verify your school email, manage your registration, and choose whether to receive optional communications or volunteer as a campus ambassador.

Joining does not create a dating profile, enrol you in a matching pilot, or give Hallway permission to send text messages. We are not arranging dates through this waitlist. Any future matching, event, reservation, paid service, or SMS feature will have its own explanation and any additional terms and consent it needs before you choose to participate.

No payment, subscription, or automatic paid enrolment is required for the waitlist. We do not promise a launch date, invitation, match, date, relationship, priority position, or particular number of participants.

You may register if you are at least 18, currently attend an eligible Ontario university, and control the school email address you provide. Quebec campuses are not open in this release. Use your own email and one registration per person. Keep the information you give us accurate and contact us if it needs correcting.

You agree to these terms when, after verifying access to your email, you select the clearly labelled terms acceptance control and confirm your registration. The version presented at that confirmation applies to your registration, subject to section 10. The Privacy Notice explains how we handle personal information from your first request onward. Acknowledging that notice does not enrol you in optional marketing.

School email verification confirms access to an inbox. It does not independently verify age, identity, current enrolment, background, or safety. Campus names identify the intended community. Hallway is not affiliated with or endorsed by a university unless we expressly identify a specific authorized relationship.

Protect your verification links and signed-in session. Let us know if you believe someone has used your email or accessed your registration without permission. We may require proportionate verification before giving access or changing a registration.

We send messages needed to carry out actions you request, such as verifying your email, signing in, responding to a privacy request, or addressing a material security issue. Campus-opening notices and other optional updates follow the choices described beside their controls and in the Privacy Notice. You can withdraw those choices without buying anything or agreeing to a future service.

You may leave the waitlist at any time through the member controls or by contacting us. The Privacy Notice explains deletion, records retained for limited purposes, and provider or backup copies.

You may share your referral link voluntarily. Do not send unsolicited bulk messages, scrape contact lists, impersonate Hallway or a university, create false registrations, or offer rewards that we have not authorized.

Referrals measure interest. They do not buy a place, guarantee priority or a match, or create a right to payment. Any future reward programme will have separate rules shown before participation.

Public campus totals are limited and rounded to reduce disclosure. Referral totals are delayed and shown only after a minimum count. They are indicators of registered interest, not a promise that those people are available, compatible, or willing to participate in a future pilot. Someone in a small social circle may still infer who joined from a referral link.

Use the waitlist lawfully and respectfully. Do not submit someone else's personal information without authority; harass or threaten people; send fraudulent or discriminatory material; bypass access controls; interfere with the service; or collect member information through scraping or deception.

You may report a suspected security problem privately to tejass@anticipy.ai. Do not access another person's information or disrupt the service when reporting it. These terms do not prohibit activity that applicable law expressly permits.

Hallway and its licensors retain rights in the service's software, branding, and original content. You may use the website and share ordinary links for the purposes allowed by these terms. Third-party names and materials belong to their respective owners.

You retain any rights you have in information or optional feedback you submit. You give us only the permission reasonably needed to operate the waitlist and handle that submission for the purposes explained when it is collected. This is not permission to sell your identity, publish private submissions, use them in advertising, or train a general-purpose AI model. Personal information remains subject to the Privacy Notice and applicable law.

We may restrict a registration where reasonably necessary to address ineligibility, abuse, fraud, security risks, unlawful conduct, or a material breach of these terms. Where practical and safe, we will explain the reason and how to request a review at tejass@anticipy.ai. We may withhold details where disclosure would expose another person's information, compromise security, or breach law.

We may pause or end the waitlist or close a campus. Where practical, we will give notice and an opportunity to export your registration information. Urgent security or legal reasons may require immediate action. Closure does not remove your privacy rights or change the retention limits described in the Privacy Notice.

We will use reasonable care in operating the waitlist. Internet services can be interrupted, messages can fail, and information can become outdated. Tell us about a problem so we can investigate. Our statements about security describe measures and limits, not a guarantee that an incident can never occur.

We do not give a warranty of uninterrupted availability or of a particular future launch or relationship outcome. These terms do not exclude liability for our fraud, wilful misconduct, or gross negligence, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any liability or remedy that applicable law does not allow us to exclude. They do not require you to waive privacy, consumer, human-rights, or other mandatory protections.

There is no contractual zero-dollar damages cap, mandatory private arbitration, or class-action waiver in these waitlist terms. Responsibility for a claim remains subject to applicable law, including proof of loss, causation, and any lawful duty to reduce loss.

You can contact tejass@anticipy.ai to seek a practical resolution. Doing so is optional and does not shorten a legal deadline or prevent you from seeking urgent relief, using a court or tribunal, or contacting a regulator.

Ontario law and applicable federal Canadian law govern these terms, subject to any mandatory law that protects you where it applies. A dispute may be brought before a court or tribunal with lawful jurisdiction. These terms do not require you to bring proceedings outside a jurisdiction whose mandatory law gives you a right to bring them there.

We will date and version changes and make the current terms available on the site. A material change to your contractual obligations requires clear notice and renewed agreement before we apply it to you. We will not use a terms update to obtain retroactive consent for a new use of personal information. You may leave instead of agreeing to a change. Changes required by law apply as the law requires.

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent they can operate lawfully. A failure to enforce a provision once is not a permanent waiver. You cannot transfer a registration to someone else. A business transfer does not remove accrued rights or permit a materially different use of personal information without the notice or consent the law requires.

These terms and the choices presented when you join describe the waitlist agreement. They do not override a representation, right, or obligation that cannot lawfully be excluded. The Privacy Notice is not a blanket consent to every activity it describes. The English and French versions are intended to have the same meaning; neither version reduces mandatory language rights.
